HELS HVK-34 BRASS is a vacuum breaker, designed as stainless steel body. It can be used up to 21 bar for steam or water applications. HELS HVK-34 BRASS work as checkvalve when the vacuum occurs in the system it prevents vacuum by taking air inside.

SAFETY INFORMATION: Safely use of vacuum breaker depends on correct installation and maintenance made by qualified person.

PRESSURE: Before maintenance please make sure the pipeline is isolated from pressure. Before maintenance, please make sure the temperature is low enough for personal safety. If it is too hot, wait for a while to lower the temperature.

INSTALLATION

– Check max pressure and temperature values
– Check flow rate direction and installation direction. HELS HVK-34 BRASS is suitable for vertical direction.
– Remove protection caps.
– Be sure operating of system after installation and maintenance.

OPERATING: It prevents vacum in the pipeline system and process equipments and helps for discharging condansate from pipeline system. Precision stainless steel ball provides leakproofing.

Cooling: Evaporation starts with down in steam pressure. Stainless steel ball remains on top of the seat when the top of the pressure arrives lower point of atmosphere pressure. It leaves from seat at vacuum point. Air arrives from top and prevents the vacuum.

MAINTENANCE: No need general maintenance for HVK-34, HVK-35
